Text spamming is growing and is frankly very annoying. Wednesday, Android App Privacy Star added a free, easy to use feature, which will help users file formal complaints with the FTC directly from their phones. The ability to file complaint does no require a subscription and is available in the Google Play Store.
When we are asked to REPLY “NO” or “STOP” or be removed from a list, this does not always happen. Until recently there were a few authoritative bodies people could complain to. In 2011, the FTC began a combat to actively combat which included a hot line. Having a way for consumers to fight spam is very important in the evolving world of technology.
The app provides a simple and easy way to voice discontent with the federal agency and requires little more than a single tap to do so.
