    Is your dealership using social media to promote your brand?

    Whether you are or or not, there are a few things that you should do to ensure it is effective:

    Are you PLANNING? Many dealers are using social media without planning. Are you identifying your target consumers and join those social sites that are favored by them? If you want to reach out to your Scion audience, Facebook, Linkedin and Pinterest may not be the social outlet. These sites are preferred websites for people aged 45-54. Instagram would be the best outlet for the Scion consumer.

    Share Content Regularly: This will increase visibility of your business and improve relationships with your current customers.

    Maintain your brands image: Keep up with the manufactures branding. Make it more recognizable by giving your potential customers a idea of your dealerships/Auto Group identity, values and culture.

    Use Google Analytics: I can’t stress this enough!! It is so important to keep track of your social media campaigns. You will be able to determine if your efforts are effective and what you can do to achieve better results.
